Dr. Mathis V. Kennington, LMFT-S, CST
Dr. Mathis Kennington is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a supervisor, and a certified sex therapist who specializes in couple and sex therapy. Dr. Kennington teaches the only graduate level courses dedicated exclusively to couple and sex therapy at St. Edward's University in Austin, TX. He currently serves as the President-Elect for the largest marriage and family therapy profession in Texas and plays an active role in educating the public on sexual health issues and overcoming relationship challenges. His therapeutic style is experience-driven and real.
Lindley Domingue, LMFT
Lindley Domingue is a licensed marriage and family therapist who is the only clinician at The Practice trained in the groundbreaking Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) work that has helped countless trauma survivors live well and cope with their experiences. Before co-founding The Practice, Lindley served as the former Clinical Director of a major substance abuse treatment hospital. Lindley brings her unique experience to bear when working with adults who want to have a better life in the midst of turmoil.
Robyn Strelitz, MA, JD, LMFT
Robyn Strelitz is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a rich history of helping individuals and families in their most challenging life transitions. Robyn earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and practiced as an attorney in the area of family law. Robyn’s legal background, empathy, and experience in couple and family therapy combine to create a community resource that is difficult to match. Robyn specializes in helping folks work through trauma, grief, chronic illness and family conflict.
Alyssa Cornett, MA, LMFT
Alyssa Cornett is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in relationship coaching and couples therapy. She enjoys helping couples and individuals strengthen their connections, deepen their passion and enhance their lives in a more meaningful way. Using an integrative approach to therapy, she helps clients address their challenges, patterns and blocks in order to set clearer relationship parameters, establish new ways to listen and express themselves and cultivate a greater sense of fulfillment. She helps her clients feel more confident to reach for the lives they’ve always wanted!
Delaney Menell, MA, LMFT
Delaney’s authenticity and passion for mental health and human connection creates space for positive, lasting change. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist associate that invites you to join with her collaboratively to explore and address your deepest challenges. Delaney enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. She is trained in level II Gottman Couples Therapy and she specializes in working with those belonging to the LGBTQIA community, those struggling with disordered eating, and those that need guidance in supporting loved ones with mental illness.
Lydia Clemmons, LCDC
Lydia has been in the addictions counseling field for 18 years as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has worked in residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Lydia recently brought her much needed experience to The Practice, which includes extensive work with those who suffer from addiction and their families using cutting-edge interventions. She has served as a TAAP board member both in Austin and in Dallas and volunteers within the recovery community on a regular basis.
Simon Niblock, MA, LMFT
Simon Niblock is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping men, couples and their families find peace and direction within their relationships. Simon is passionate about helping his clients find peaceful resolution to some of life’s biggest challenges. Simon is quickly gaining a reputation as a leading voice in Austin for men's mental health. We are proud to have his practical and direct approach at The Practice.
Kendall Campbell, MA, LMFT
Kendall is a licensed marriage and family therapist. He specializes in working with adolescents and couples. Kendall worked with emotionally and behaviorally disturbed adolescents at the Waco Center for Youth in his last two years of study at Baylor. Before joining The Practice Kendall worked with adults struggling with mental illness at Austin State Hospital. In 2015, Kendall opened up a private practice in order to help couples navigate challenging issues such as infidelity, addiction and parenting. Kendall is available for evening and weekend hours.
Jessica Worthington, MA, LMFT
Jessica specializes in couples therapy and marriage counseling for couples who find themselves in the midst of a crisis in their relationship. The issues Jessica helps address include chronic conflict, communication difficulties, infidelity, the impact of cancer and chronic illness, & sexual issues. She helps couples contemplating divorce gain greater clarity and confidence about their decision. If your relationship has gone off course, then Jessica could be the first step you need to create the future you hope for.
Jeanene Smith, LPC, LMFT-S
Jeanene Smith is a licensed marriage and family therapist and supervisor, a licensed professional counselor and an experienced therapist who works with high conflict couples. Jeanene is a certified mediator and a certified parenting coordinator and facilitator. Jeanene's passion is to promote relationship health by promoting relationship skill-building and positive communication. Jeanene's goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can grow and thrive.
Our associate therapists are hand-picked and uniquely trained post-graduate clinicians. They are completing their hours required to complete their licensure requirements in Texas. They are a valuable resource in the community because they can see folks on a sliding scale and receive top notch supervision of their cases.
Rebecca Neufeld, LMFT-Associate
Rebecca Neufeld is a licensed marriage and family therapist associate. She enjoys working with couples and families, and specifically families with adolescents. With a background in working in the school system, as well as the American Cancer Society, Rebecca has empathy for and experience in dealing with a wide range of issues. She is able to incorporate concepts such as Gottman therapy, sexual history interviewing, mindfulness and other well-supported techniques to create unique therapeutic experineces for her clients..
Stephanie Paez, MA, LMFT-Associate
Stephanie is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. She is from Monterrey,
Mexico and is truly knowledgeable of both the Hispanic and the American
culture. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UT Austin, and a Master of Arts degree from St. Edward's University. She is currently a board member of the Austin Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Besides working in therapy on various issues, she specializes in working with
immigrants, and couples and families with cultural differences. Her passion is
to facilitate emotional connection between people and help individuals heal from trauma and/or life’s challenges.
Katey Villalon, MA, LMFT-Associate
Katey works with couples and adults of all backgrounds who are struggling with reconnecting after what may feel like years of disconnect, communication, and conflict resolution. Those experiencing anger and trust issues, intimacy and aging dilemmas, or grieving a loss, have found it really helpful to do therapy with Katey. A lot of the work that she does with clients is focused on how relationships change over time, and how expectations can change too. Katey is also passionate about mental health care and she currently serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Government Affairs Committee for the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
